As usual, I heart Taylor Swift

I'm part of a blogfest to blog every weekday in May. And I start off by missing the 2nd and the 3rd. I might as well legally change my name to Slacker.

Thursday is the day where I get to tell you about someone else, and while I sincerely want to tell you all about my cat Lucy (she's so cute, it would be an excuse to spam you with cat pictures) I'll refrain. This time. There are still several Thursdays left in this month.

I'm going to talk about Taylor Swift. Specifically why I like her so much.

I like her because she always looks like she's having the time of her life on stage, in her videos, in interviews, basically during anything that has to do with her music. Seeing that kind of passion is inspiring, I think, especially since we all know that life isn't ever that much fun, and pursuing creative endeavors is especially scary. I find it enjoyable to watch someone who's having that much fun, and is so positive. (Not that I wouldn't have fun being Taylor Swift!)

It's the first day of Blog me MAYbe, a great idea Sara had to get those of us who lack a certain *ahem* blogging motivation back into the swing of things! If you want to sign up, there's a big list at her original post (I could put it at the bottom of mine, but remember that whole laziness "lack of motivation" thing? I'm working on it, but baby steps.)

Tuesday is tell you something about myself day.

Is it sad that I've sat here for several minutes trying to think of an interesting thing about myself and all I could come up with is the fact that I hate wearing socks?

Since it's early in the morning, I guess I'll talk about breakfast. Most of the time I'd rather eat a non-breakfast food in the morning. Like my leftovers from the night before, or pasta, or a sandwich. Then later in the day I decide I want scrambled eggs or cereal. I'm not sure why, but breakfast tastes better when eaten for another meal.

I promise next Tuesday I'll come up with something better.
