Don't forget about me!
New books are what usually get most of the blog page-time. But some of my favorite YA books came out before blogging was even a big deal. Thankfully, almost all of these authors are still producing fantastic books (I'm still really sad about Diana Wynne Jones, though), but I feel like I should give a shout-out to these old favorites that have been on the backlist for a while!

Ooooh, those are some good ones. :) My pick would have to be Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin.
ReplyDeleteAll of those are on my list of favorite books. The Circle of Magic series by Pierce is also great. I think I read Sabriel and then attempted to read all of Nix's books when I was in middle school.

ReplyDeleteI adore Howl (and just about everything Jones wrote) and Sabriel. I'm also forever in love with Ursula LeGuin's A Wizard of Earthsea series.
