I'm finally
finally starting a new project after working on the same thing for a very
very long time. A YA fantasy this time that I'm starting just in time to join Camp NaNoWriMo for the month of August! I've never actually had things together at the right time to do NaNoWriMo--I've always been revising or finishing up a project or in the middle of finals when November rolled around.
Anyone working on something new this month as well?
It's my goal to finish edits for my current WIP and start in on my shiny new idea sometime in August too, but I don't have a NanoWrimo goal.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Hey, I'm doing the August session of Camp NaNoWriMo too! Good luck and happy writing!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about doing Camp NaNo, too. I guess I should decide soon, huh? :-) Good luck with your project!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to do some pre-work in September and October for a shiny new one. I always seem to be in the middle of revisions in November too. Maybe not this year!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! New stories are so exciting!
I'm doing the August Camp NaNoWriMo as well! This'll be my fourth NaNo project, I just love it. Good luck with it!
ReplyDeleteWoo, I don't think I could pull off 50k words in one month without quitting my job or losing my sanity. Instead, I'm going to try Natalie Bahm's idea of writing something on my manuscript every day this month: http://nataliebahm.blogspot.com/2011/08/just-write-something.html
ReplyDeleteYay for new projects! Oh how I'd love to start one, but I'm still working away on the old one!
ReplyDeleteI love starting new projects. Have fun with it. :)
ReplyDeleteHooray! Also, I love your new blog look!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new project! Love all the pictures on your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always so exciting to start a new project! I've been working on one of my manuscripts off and on for almost 3 years now, so my side projects all feel new.
