You aren't really steampunk anymore, are you? You still have steampunk elements, to be sure, but you've gone rogue and dark on me. That's ok, though, I rewrote you and asked you what you wanted to be, and that's what you said.
I definitely didn't expect you to divide yourself into parts, or to need more than one point of view. But I like those things. They make you look pretty. And goodness knows, for a heck of a long time you were NOT very pretty.
Now it's time to let you sit some more, and let me work on other things. Like this new WIP that's sure to be getting a (frustrated/elated) letter sometime soon.
xx
It's funny when your MS morphs into something else, isn't it? Love your letter!
ReplyDeleteEven if it changed drastically, it's good that your manuscript had enough life in it to talk back to you :)
ReplyDeleteHahah, how does that happen? O_o
ReplyDeleteI'm actually a little scared to get back to work on the wip after spending so much time away revising another project. I'm expecting to open the file and find it has changed genres all by itself! ;)
I love Halestorm!
ReplyDeleteLove the letter - I need to write one to my beastly WIP. He's a hot mess. And just seems to get messier.
ReplyDeleteYup, I hear ya. My wips morph into something entirely new all the time. Ah, well, in the end that's best!
ReplyDeleteI really like your blog's new look!
I don't care what you call it. It's freakin' great. Now hurry up and write the next one.
